Hi! My name is Liza Butler and I am a 20 year old student at the University of South Carolina in Columbia SC. A few things I like to do are run, play soccer, watch movies, listen to music, be creative, be outside, experience new things and meet new people. I am currently a Nursing Major but I am now reevaluating if nursing is what God is calling me to do therefore I am taking fall semester 2008 to really seek out God's will for me. I was born and raised in Columbus GA as a part of a family of 5. I have two sisters, one older and one younger, and 2 very loving and supportive Christian parents. I grew up in the Methodist church and I accepted Christ as my savior when I was about 10 years old. It wasn't until freshman year of college that I became lost in my relationship with Christ (for whatever reason this happened I am still not sure) but after this period of my life I was truly able to understand God's glory. My relationship with Him is now on a completely different level that I thank Him for everyday. It is a different kind of love that I have for Christ that I thought I had before but now I can truly feel His presence and love all around me. I love to meet new people and experience new things and I know that this trip will let me see ways that Christ works in ways that I have never seen before.
