Hey Swazi team! We’ve been talking to our contacts in Swaziland and we now have an updated ministry supply list for you.
**There is not need for any more craft supplies. In the past, teams have brought boat-loads of crafts and they’re currently buried in them. So hold off on the craft supplies and in their place, please bring…
— balloons (lots and lots)
— lots of soccer balls (and other sports balls, but soccer is the favorite)
— air pumps
— Children’s story books (lots!)
— Study Bibles & good books for a developing library at a Pastor’s training school. — ex: Bible dictionaries, text books, Old & New Testament survey books, Bible study books
— soccer scrimmage vests — this summer a Swazi team got several of these donated from Dick’s Sporting Goods. All of the ones they have are yellow. So any color except for yellow is great! See if you can get them donated. If not, they are fairly cheap and you may have supporters who would want to give you money to purchase them.
Remember, you’re not expected to go out and purchase these ministry supplies on your own. Ask around and I guarantee there will be people wanting to give money to you to purchase these things. Please post a comment here and let us know what you’ll be able to acquire.
