headed to Nsoko

Yesterday the Swazi team departed Manzini trekking across Swaziland to a remote area called Nsoko.  Nsoko is located in Southeast Swaziland near the border with South Africa.  The team will be involved in ministry there all week, returning to their home in Manzini on Friday.  While in Nsoko, they’ll get the opportunity to be involved in a variety of different ministries.  They’ll be working alongside Pastor Gift and will help at care points where children are fed 2 meals a day and taught basic Kindergarten classes.  In speaking to the leaders this past week, they were also excited about getting the team out to do some evangelism in the surrounding villages.  They’ll also be assisting our AIM missionaries in a project called Timbali Crafts (www.timbalicrafts.org).  In this ministry, local grandmothers who run the care points are taught sewing skills and manufacture purses and other products to help them make a living.  This is another incredible opportunity for the team to be a part of a ministry with lasting fruit and they are all really looking forward to it.  We just wanted to let you, as parents, friends, and loved ones, know the latest from our team in Swaziland.  They’re doing great and continue to grow closer as a team and more in love with the Lord as they love on His people.
